GALOSHES GALLOP

Galoshes gallop is the annual fund-raiser for the Work Unlimited adolescent program serving youth with developmental disabilities. It is a delightful and fun time for groups and families. September 17th at 1:00 people who have not pre-registered can register at the Gazebo at Minto Brown Park in Salem. Cost for a team is $20. The Gallop starts at 1:30. Participants will gallop, run, walk, stroll or skip around a short course as many times as they can in the hour. As they pass by staff stationed along the route they will receive tickets for passing by, smiling, doing a bit of dance or song. The tickets are the currency for the live auction held at 2:30. Prizes will be auctioned to the highest bidder. Teams can pool their tickets to increase their auction power. Companies and individuals in the community donate prizes. You can receive a letter for your tax-deductible donation.
